- Title: Will Trent – Have You Never Been to a Wedding?
- IMDb: link
With Faith’s (Iantha Richardson) boyfriend out of town, Will (Ramón Rodríguez) accompanies his partner and her son (Deion Smith) to a wedding that quickly goes to hell when armed robbers take everyone hostage. The episode allows Faith to play a bit of John McClane while Will attempts to deescalate the situation and talk some sense into the robbers which becomes harder to do once they turn on each other. Eventually Angie (Erika Christensen) and Ormewood (Jake McLaughlin) arrive with the cavalry taking down the remaining thieves.
Another solid episode that puts Will in another situation bringing up painful memories of his past, as his hallucinations return, and gives Faith an opportunity to kick some ass, we also get more foreshadowing of looming trouble on the Crystal (Chapel Oaks) and Will and Angie falling into old patterns to end the episode. Memorable moments include Will’s James Bond moment at the beginning of the episode, him playing with a made-up role of defense attorney that turns into an important cover to try and convince the robbers to leave, and the episode’s epilogue putting the pair together (perhaps just in time for the Crystal situation to explode?).
