The museum heist episode. Traveling to Madrid, Ava (Alba Baptista) and Beatrice (Kristina Tonteri-Young) have a run-in with Father Vincent (Tristán Ulloa) before their reunion with what remains of the OCS. It won’t be the last they see of the priest. Ava from Yasmine (Meena Rayann) about the weapon used to trap Adriel (William Miller). The Crown of Thorns is a device from his realm and can shut off divine power and was used centuries ago to help trap him under the Vatican. After being lost for generations it now resides in the Prada Museum. It’s time for a heist.
The heist is quite a bit of fun with a couple of nice twists involving the fake crown and the real crown being used against Ava by Father Vincent before absconding with both it and the warrior nun leaving the other nuns to deal with the police. Elsewhere, Pope Francesco Duretti (Joaquim De Almeida) takes up some brutal methods after discovering a traitor loyal to Adriel in his midst (underestimating just how far the angel’s influence has grown across the cardinals), and Lilith (Lorena Andrea) spends some time with Jillian Salvius (Thekla Reuten) before realizing the doctor’s selfish motives can’t help her with the answers she seeks leading the transforming nun to seek them elsewhere.
