- Title: Wander Over Yonder – The Black Cube
- wiki: link
It ain’t easy being a black cube of darkness. Following its recent failures and its inability to acquire the Ring of Invincibility, the Black Cube of Darkness, one of the show’s most ridiculous characters, decides to give up its life of evil and turn over a new leaf. However, folks aren’t all that willing to accept such a change from a soul-sucking black cube of evil.
With most of the episode spent showcasing the outside world shitting on the former villain’s attempt to go straight, which of course goes horribly wrong, eventually Wander (Jack McBrayer) and Sylvia (April Winchell) arrive in time to prevent an increasingly frustrated Cube from returning to its old ways, shame the public for not accepting him and not giving the cube credit for the good he attempted to do (including saving a citizen’s life), and giving the former villain the motivation needed to accept a new lease on life as a “Black Cube of Sunshine.” It’s a completely unexpected episode with a terrific message for the show’s younger viewers.
