- Title: The Flash – Good-Bye Vibrations

In a season that has often felt like both writers and characters are going through the motions, “Good-Bye Vibrations” puts larger storylines on hold, taking a welcome break from the Forces storyline, to say farewell to Cisco (Carlos Valdes), and to a lesser extent Kamilla (Victoria Park), as the couple prepare to leave Central City behind. The episode doesn’t go crazy with flashbacks, but does offer a few callbacks as Barry (Grant Gustin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) put on such a brave face that Cisco begins to wonder if his friends will miss him at all. The karaoke final scene fits the group well, and its intersting split on the most long-running members of Team Flash sticking with Vibe on his final night while the Citizen crew say goodbye to Kamilla.
It’s a goofier final episode for Valdes, at least as a full-time cast member, which feels like a bit of a throwback given how serious the show has gotten at times. The episode offers one final villain to fight with the introduction of a new Rainbow Raider (Jona Xiao) who, in Robin Hood fashion, uses her meta abilities to steal from the rich with plans of helping those in need. In Silver Age fashion, the villain is more misguided than truly evil using her euphoric powers to make people happy and accumulate wealth which she plans on dropping on the city from a stealth blimp (and odd invention which one would think would have its own story behind it). Cisco manages to save the day and take a final bow (although we could see him again in not too long for the show’s 150th episode in which multiple characters will be returning).
