- Title: The Flash – All Star Team Up

Things are looking up for Central City. Crime rates have fallen as appearances of the Flash (Grant Gustin) have risen with the city’s new hero helping Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett), who is struggling with keeping Barry’s secret from his girlfriend, with several recent collars. With Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) needing a little help on his A.T.O.M. suit, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and her new boyfriend make a trip to Central City to see her friends at S.T.A.R. Labs. The guest-appearance by both Felicity and Ray allows for her to coax the truth from Barry about what is bothering him about his team while Ray’s first appearance on the show allows both he and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to go into full geek mode and an instant bromance while working on the suit.
Along with an ill-fated dinner with Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton), and Eddie, and struggling with the knowledge of Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) being the Reverse-Flash, the Flash must also deal with the first appearance of a new super-villain in town as roboticist Brie Larvan (Emily Kinney) adapts her robotic bees into killing machines to attack her former co-workers including Tina McGee (Amanda Pays). The sequence involving Cisco and Ray working together to name the villain is cute but they get to the awkward title of Bug-Eyed Bandit a little too quickly.
Barry and Ray don’t get to do much actually teaming-up in this episode but Ray’s appearance helps move stories forward on both The Flash and Arrow. The discovery of Larvan’s technology is another piece to making the Atom closer to his comic book version and Felicity helps Barry realize, despite Joe’s concerns, he needs to share his suspicions about Wells with both Cisco and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Cisco’s visions of the alternate reality in which he was confronted and killed by Wells also begin to resurface this week given further credence to Barry’s theory and moving the show one-step closer to another confrontation between the Flash and the Reverse-Flash.
