- Title: The Fall of the House of Usher – The Black Cat

It’s Leo’s (Rahul Kohli) turn to die in an episode that features our mystery woman (Carla Gugino) psychologically torturing him more than the previous kills. After selling him a demon cat to replace the one he killed (but did he?) things go downhill fast with Leo loosing sanity at an alarming rate after a series of attack from the cat and dealing with the stress from Camille’s (Kate Siegel) death eventually leading to murderously plunging to his death.
In terms of the larger storyline Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline (Mary McDonnell) realize who is coming after them but the show makes no more reveals about the nature of the series of events befalling the Usher family stringing along viewers despite anyone with half a brain being able to piece together what’s likely to have happened. Now halfway through its run, The Fall of the House of Usher cements itself as a middling show with admittedly good production that feels inapable of ever getting to the point.
