- Title: The Blacklist – Room 417

It takes half the episode for the meaning of the episode’s title to come into focus as an attempt to rob an Air Force General of classified information leads the Task Force to a secret room underneath the Capitol where in Room 417 someone has been keeping close eyes on all the comings and goings of Washington. Once found, and discovering the trail leads to an analog information station it doesn’t take long for Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) to put the pieces together and realize the entire operation was part of Reddington‘s (James Spader) empire and just like the Morgana Logistics Corporation he’s used the FBI to dismantle another key piece of his criminal empire.
Heading into the last few episodes, Congressman Arthur Hudson (Toby Leonard Moore) finds out the truth about the Task Force and its connection to Reddington by pressuring Ressler‘s (Diego Klattenhoff) new AA buddy into planning a bug on his sponsor leading to the Task Force all incriminating themselves to the Congressman’s delight. With only two weeks remaining, the walls are beginning to close in on Red but mostly by his own design (I wouldn’t be surprised if the high tech gadget the Congressman found was sent his way as part of the criminal’s larger design). The question then becomes what is Reddington’s end game and how will things end for The Blacklist?
