- Title: The Blacklist – Arthur Hudson

In the final episode before the two-part series finale, Congressman Arthur Hudson (Toby Leonard Moore) exposes the truth about the Task Force to the Attorney General getting it shut down and a manhunt for Reddington (James Spader). Unable to capture him, thanks in part to a warning from Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq), Red goes free. Knowing he needs to be captured, and those with the most knowledge of the man are the same task force that he just shut down, the AG gives Harold (Harry Lennix) and his friend a new mission, and a way to avoid prosecution, in capturing Raymond Reddington for the United States Government.
The subplot of Ressler‘s (Diego Klattenhoff) AA buddy continues here with the man’s suicide following the betrayal Hudson coerced him into making. With two episodes left it’s not clear what role it will play into the hunting down of Red but given the inordinate amount of screentime one would expect some larger payoff before the end. As for Reddington, having shut down large portions of his empire, where does he go now that the people who know him best are hunting him (and just what exactly is his final plan?). There’s also plenty of secrets about Reddington, and heavily suggested answers, over the show’s decade on television. Just how many of those might be revealed before the end confirming the truth about Red and his relationship with Elizabeth Keen?
