- Title: The Big Bang Theory – The Locomotive Manipulation
- wiki: link
Amy‘s (Mayim Bialik) plans for the perfect St. Valentine’s Day dinner backfire when she books dinner for herself, Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Howard (Simon Helberg), and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) on a restored classic locomotive. Knowing Sheldon’s love of trains, Amy hopes the setting will spark actual romance but she doesn’t take into account Sheldon making a new friend as obsessed with trains as he is.
In the episode’s B-story Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard‘s (Johnny Galecki) failure at dog sitting force them to rush Cinnamon to the vet after Raj‘s (Kunal Nayyar) dog eats a box full of chocolates while they weren’t watching. Although the pair are shamed by both Raj and the veterinarian (Tania Raymonde), the situation ends well as Raj not only takes home his prize pooch but also the woman’s phone number.
Valentine’s Day turns out not only well for Raj but for Amy who gets her unexpected romantic moment aboard the train during one of Sheldon’s rants that ends with a kiss. We’ll have to wait and see how exactly this effects their relationship going forward (whether Sheldon simply dismisses it, dwells on it, or accepts it) and what that means for Shamy going forward.
