- Title: Stranger Things – Chapter Three: The Body

The search for the missing Will (Noah Schnapp) intensifies as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is able to contact him over the radio for Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and his friends. Making a comparison to Dungeons & Dragons, the boys conclude that Will is stuck in the Vale of Shadows – a dimension of decay and death Eleven calls the Upside-Down which is just outside their reach… unless someone opens a rift between the two realities. After giving Eleven a makeover the group heads to school to use the ham radio and attempt to talk with Will. They are able to do so, although they encounter their small victory over the bullies following the assembly will have some repercussions.
The more Hopper learns about the unorthodox autopsy the more he begins to believe something fishy is going on. Trusting the admittedly hysterical Joyce, the police chief breaks into the morgue to discover the body of Will is nothing more than a sham. This will lead Hopper to make a rather rash decision, but in doing so he’ll have his own personal experience to draw from when he later learns of Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan‘s (Charlie Heaton) investigation into monsters (which they discover in one of Jonathan’s pictures) and the boys’ search for their missing friend.
