- Title: SEAL Team – Never Say Die

“Never Say Die” marks the return of Mandy Ellis (Jessica Paré), conspicuous by her absence in the season premiere. After completing a mission in Mexico locating a missing DEA agent, Ellis heads with Bravo to Saudi Arabia where terrorists have stolen Anthrax from a government lab and are threatening to release it into the water supply. Unwilling to meet their demands, the Saudis request help from the United States and Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) and his team find themselves underground in a natural aquifer with a short window that isn’t helped by the team getting separated due to a cave-in and loosing connection with the anxious Saudi Military who begin to consider more drastic back-up alternatives.
Ellis return, and the increased tension once Bravo looses radio connection with the base camp both help sell the dire nature of the circumstances the team finds themselves in. Blackburn (Judd Lormand) buying some time is a nice touch as well. Other items of note include Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) taking his wife’s advice and looking at other teams, Jason spending time with his college-bound daughter (Kerri Medders), Clay (Max Thieriot) stepping up and meeting Stella‘s (Alona Tal) opinionated parents, and a final sequence which will likely rock Bravo to its core in the coming weeks. The loss of a major supporting character will likely dominate next week’s episode and continue to effect the remainder of the season.
