For some the recent scandal is easier to put behind them then others. Oliver (Matt Gordon) returns to 15 Division as a beat cop deciding he’s had enough of the politics behind the desk. Traci (Enuka Okuma) cuts off all ties to Steve Peck (Adam MacDonald). Meanwhile Gail (Charlotte Sullivan) is stuck with her brother being brought up on charges and a friend who continues to be distant while being forced to spend the day with Steve’s old partner (Katharine Isabelle) who decides to take out her aggression on the closest Peck she can find.
The day isn’t a cake walk for Andy (Missy Peregrym) either spending it with Marlo (Rachael Ancheril) following a murder at the clinic where the police officer attends support meetings for her bipolar disorder. The case not only brings Sam (Ben Bass) back into contact with Sadie (Sarain Boylan), but also speeds up Marlo’s pregnancy forcing Andy to deliver her fiance’s love child in the middle of a murder investigation.
Even as their wedding day approaches, “Ninety Degrees” continues to foreshadow problems for Andy and Sam as McNally’s reaction to seeing the new parents with their baby suggests more trouble for the happy couple over the remainder of the season. On a positive note, Epstein (Gregory Smith) and Chloe (Priscilla Faia) are finally able to work through their troubles allowing the show’s cutest couple to finally reconcile.
