While anyone with answers continues to either go missing our show up dead, Reacher (Alan Ritchson) discovers some answers from his brother’s co-worker offering the first clue into the counterfeiting which is happening in Margrave. It will take most of the season for Reacher and his friends to grapple just how the counterfeit operation works, but it’s clear that all roads continue to lead back to to Kliner Industries.
The action from “Spoonful” comes from Reacher beating up a friend of the missing Spivey in the crappy local bar and setting a trap for more assassins who tail him to a deserted farmhouse. By the close of the episode, Reacher has a trunkload of dead bodies but still lacks a better understanding of what is going on. In another thread Finlay (Malcolm Goodwin) gets beaten up by some other cops while looking into the missing Spivey. As with Reacher’s encounter with Southern hospitality, the encounter only strengthens his resolve to get to the truth.
