- Title: Pretty Little Liars – These Boots Were Made for Stalking
- wiki: link
It seems pretty late in the game to introduce a new adversary, but that’s what nearly half of “These Boots Were Made for Stalking” is devoted to when a bitchy student named Addison (Ava Allan) turns the teachers against each other and accuses Emily (Shay Mitchell) of inappropriate conduct with the girls swim team. Events are enough to force Emily to play the game, but the entire sordid affair is dealt with in a single episode as it hardly stands up to one of A’s more sinister attacks.
As for the rest of the Liars: Aria‘s (Lucy Hale) romantic future remains in limbo, Hanna (Ashley Benson) struggles with her designs to make a deadline (foreshadowing another bad decision in her future), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) continues to search for Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) with questions only her birth mother has answers to. Other than Emily, the only Liar directly attacked in the episode is Hanna who gets trapped in the shoe repair shop by A.D. bringing back traumatic memories of her previous torture. While Jenna (Tammin Sursok) is obviously working for their adversary there aren’t too many clues here as to the identity of A.D. although Mona (Janel Parrish) continues to top a short list and, given her ability to both shame and extricate Emily out of her current predicament, Paige (Lindsey Shaw) makes an interesting possibility as well.
These last episodes are underwhelming so far
