- Title: Naomi – Zero to Sixty

While searching for answers about herself and her connection to the mysterious disc, Naomi McDuffie (Kaci Walfall) gets stuck in a bit of cliched teenager loop getting herself into trouble and not coming clean to her parents about the reasons why. As for her parents, despite initially seeming to have no conception of their adopted daughter’s origins, “Zero to Sixty” seems to quickly reverse course for the series (even if the big reveal is far less impressive or emotional that what we got in the original comic).
The episode continues to push the idea of Dee (Alexander Wraith) as mentor and sensei to Naomi who will train her despite having no idea what planet she’s from or what her powers might be. We also get more from Zumbado (Cranston Johnson) who begins calling on some old frenemies once Naomi unlocks the disc for him. It seems he has plans of heading home, and Naomi will be the key. Although it looks like next episode may force parents and daughter to be truthful with each other, we seem far from understanding Naomi’s relationship to Zumbado and “the 29.”
