Po (Mick Wingert) gets caught in the middle of a noodle feud when a reformed Hundun (Diedrich Bader) sets up a competing noodle shop in town using the knowledge and recipes Po taught several thieves and kidnappers to help them find skills once they left prison. Convinced the villain is up to no good, Mr. Ping‘s (James Hong) paranoia runs off on his son who breaks into the restaurant and beats up Hundun’s waiters looking for secret tunnel to the Jade Palace that no longer exists.
Wanting to make it up to his friend, Po agrees to help promote the new noodle shop while trying to also help his father’s new promotions as well. When Ping discovers Po’s divided loyalties he decides to give up the fight and ask Hundun for a job, only to discover that his initial distrust was warranted and the rhino and his rabbit, pig, and gorilla waiters are working on reopening the tunnel to the Jade Palace.
The episode’s final twist gets Po out of a no-win situation that would have been more interesting to see how the episode would have been resolved if Hundun’s restaurant dreams had been legitimate. Instead, with Hundun’s plan revealed Po races to save his father and stop Hundun from blowing up the Jade Palace with his supply of fireworks that Po eventually turns back on his owner.
