- Title: Killjoys – One Blood

It’s a bad day for Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) who learns that a mentor (Tony Nappo) she cares for has been targeted by the RAC and the mentor she can’t stand also wants the Killjoy found along with the black-market weapon he stole. While Dutch is forced into service by Khlyen (Rob Stewart), John (Aaron Ashmore) and D’Avin (Luke Macfarlane) agree to work with Fancy Lee (Sean Baek) to find the bounty and stop Dutch from doing anything that may land her in deep trouble with the RAC, like helping her old friend escape.
Even before the reveal of the weapon’s true purpose, and why the company would move heaven and earth to retrieve it, “One Blood” has a lot going for it. Not only do we discover a positive father figure in Dutch’s life (who she is forced to loose) but the episode continues to hint at a connection between the Killjoy and Khlyen despite how much the Killjoy would like to ignore it. The episode also introduces us, and D’Avin, to the odd fraternity of Killjoys and continues the B-story of D’Avin’s crazy shrink/girlfriend (Sarah Power) who risks everything for some very questionable intelligence about a doctor who may have some answers to D’Avin’s condition. With her out the way, and a few lines between Fancy Lee and John, it seems the show is ready to jump into a love triangle between the three main characters that will likely end badly for at least one member of the crew.
