As Mike (Aaron Tveit) and the team try to nail Bello and the mysterious Odin, Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) continues to secretly work against Graceland in his role as Odin and supply Bello (Gbenga Akinnagbe) with $2.4 million worth of heroin that he has been skimming from busts for months. Things are complicated even further when members of the Caza Cartel, unhappy with Bello’s new partnership with Odin send armed men to take out Bello and when that fails threaten to send their legendary boogeyman: Jangles the Key Man.
With suspicions that won’t go away, Charlie (Vanessa Ferlito) enlists the help of Tuturro (Manny Montana) to look into Briggs. With Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren) on a stakeout and the other members of Graceland otherwise occupied, Mike takes to opportunity to break the house’s cardinal rule and takes Abby (Jenn Proske) home with him which ends badly with the sudden return of Paige (Serinda Swan) and Abby’s discovery of Mike’s gun which starts her questioning all the vague answers Mike his given her about his job and his past.
Mike calls an audible to flush out the mysterious drug dealer by denying Bello the latest shipment of drugs from Odin and the Graceland team puts 24-hour surveillance on Bello which forces Briggs to get inventive to hide his double life from the house and deliver enough drugs to Bello to keep him in heroin until the heat dies down (although to facilitate his escape he has to attack a member of his own team).
The re-introduction of Jangles offers a new possibility for the motives of Briggs creating the Odin identity in order to flush out the man who turned him into a heroin addict. Whether that’s the case or not, one things is clear, Briggs is taking more and more dangerous risks that put both himself and the other members of the team in danger. With Charlie’s suspicions, “Bag Man” also widens the thread of distrust inside the house as more than just one member of Graceland is now actively looking into what Briggs has to hide.
