- Title: Galavant – Completely Mad… Alena
- IMDb: link
Delivered to Valencia by the pirates, Galavant (Joshua Sasse), Sid (Luke Youngblood), and Isabella (Karen David) continue their quest as the princess continues to doubt her decision to betray the hero she has come to care for. Stopping for a time in a monastery of singing monks (led by “Weird Al” Yankovic), the heroes take a final rest before making it to the palace where Isabella’s treachery is revealed, promptly at 9:00.
While over-analyzing his plan in an attempt to keep Galavant’s capture from his wife, King Richard’s (Timothy Omundson) plotting actually alerts Madalena (Mallory Jansen) to the goings on throwing a wrench into the public execution of the king’s enemy. With Isabella’s treachery revealed and Madalena’s true heart unknown our hero finds himself lost once more.
“Completely Mad… Alena” continues to show us the real Madalena rather than the woman of Galavant’s romanticized memories or the woman the king wishes her to be. It also offers an odd love story between the Chef (Darren Evans) and the Queen’s handmaiden (Sophie McShera) that, because of the Queen’s scheming nearly ends in one of their deaths.
