- Title: Emerald City – Science and Magic
- wiki: link
The fourth episode of Emerald City reveals the identity of a the Tin Man to be Jack (Gerran Howell), who turns out to be less a dead boy then a living cyborg thanks to the intervention of a scientist (Gina McKee) and the interest of the mysterious Lady Ev (Stefanie Martini). In plot threads that mostly flounder, Tip (Jordan Loughran) is given the opportunity to join either Glinda (Joely Richardson) or West (Ana Ularu), but neither makes a very convincing case for their side, and the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) investigates the use of forbidden magic.
Elsewhere, Dorothy‘s (Adria Arjona) trip to the Emerald City continues to get sidetracked. This time the distraction comes in the form of a scared young girl (Rebeka Rea) and a run-in with the Wizard’s soldiers, one of whom recognizes Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). By the end of the episode Dorothy’s motley band has grown by another member, although it is neither tin nor all that cat-like. As for Lucas, the amnesiac seems willing to let his past lie and move forward with Dorothy, but his run-in with Eamonn (Mido Hamada) suggests that it might not be as simple as the scarecrow would like.
