- Title: Beauty and the Beast – Monsieur et Madame Bete
- wiki: link
With Liam (Jason “Iron Eagle” Gedrick) defeated new troubles threaten the happily married couple of Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) causing the pair to end their honeymoon prematurely. First, Vincent beasts out in order to save a French couple from a traffic accident. Second, a well-known conspiracy blogger begins putting together the pieces to uncover the truth about beasts. And finally, J.T. (Nina Lisandrello) and Heather (Nicole Anderson) are put themselves in danger investigating the blogger and finding a professional killer (Peter Wingfield) hunting the elusive beast.
The time off hasn’t helped the show’s writing or the decision making of any of its characters. Despite knowing that the redacted records the killer gets his hands on will point to Liam being the beast, none of our heroes even think to us the dead villain to take the heat off of Vincent. J.T.’s snooping not only puts both Chandler sisters in danger but also reveals his connection to the beasts, dragging everyone over the cliff with him. The season premiere’s big reveal is that someone with wealth and influence not only knows about beasts but is offering a sizable reward for the capture of one. Given how close the first hired gun got, thanks in large part to the decisions of J.T. and Catherine, I’d expect this to be a running theme over the show’s final season.
