- Title: Beyond – Bedposts
- wiki: link
“Bedposts” continues the them of Holden (Burkely Duffield) and Willa (Dilan Gwyn) getting along better with others than each other as Willa hangs out with Luke (Jonathan Whitesell) and Holden spends time with Charlie (Eden Brolin). When both pairs end up at the same bowling alley arcade, awkwardness ensues and truths are revealed. However, the main conflict of the episode is saved for the final five minutes as Diego (Oscar Camacho) finally catches up to Holden, leading to some serious destruction at the bowling alley long after his friends had abandoned the show’s protagonist.
While finally bringing some underlining stories to the surface, “Bedposts” doesn’t do much to forward the larger threat storyline until the end of the episode. We still don’t know who or what is in that freezer, what Holden’s connection is to the fire-starting mental patient, what exactly Holden broke in the Realm, or why Diego is hunting him. What we do end up with is a thoroughly confused protagonist with a pissed-off brother, a pissed-off girlfriend, and even more questions for the girl who has one foot out the door and a boatload of secrets she’s unwilling to share.
