The August 30th edition of AEW Rampage gave us tag team action of the Outrunners vs. Grizzled Young Veterans, a three-way tag featuring Jarret & Lethal vs. Private Party vs. the Kingdom, matches with Nyla Rose and Mina Shirakawa, and a four-way main event with Takeshita, the Beast Mortos, Lio Rush, and Komander.
Highlights:
- The night kicked off with a solid three-way tag match featuring Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal defeating Private Party and the Kingdom. The match ended with a fun double figure-four on both members of the Kingdom.

- Mina Shirakawa had a short match against a local wrestler which was slightly more competitive than a squash (but not by much).
- Grizzled Young Veterans made their debut as official members of the roster beating the Outrunners in a match with the Outrunners providing the crowd-friendly antics and the GYV focusing on hard hitting moves including a Doomsday Device on their way to a win. Both of these teams (along with those involved in the opening match) could breathe some new life into the division which has grown stagnant at the top.

- We got a quick backstage segment with Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway talking trash about Willow Nightingale ahead of Statlander’s match at All Out.
- Nyla Rose made quick work of her opponent in a squash win.
- We got separate video packages for all four members of the four-way main event featuring Konosuke Takeshita, the Beast Mortos, Lio Rush, and Komander. The match of the night, it even got the lackluster crowd fired up, featured a mix of power and high flying with eventually getting the pin with the Falcon Arrow.
