In the season finale Nikita (Maggie Q) is blackmailed by Amanda (Melinda Clarke) to kill the President Spencer (Michelle Nolden) or watch the man she loves die. Although she keeps her plans from the rest of the team, Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) does some digging into why Nikita was out of contact for 22 minutes and has been acting strange since her return. This, along with a couple of obscure hints Nikita drops, leads to their discovery of the transmitter Amanda installed in their friend and her plan to kill the President.

With Division closing down and President Spencer (Michelle Nolden) officially signing each of their pardons, Michael (Shane West) grows concerned that Nikita (Maggie Q) is unwilling to leave her search for Amanda (Melinda Clarke) behind, especially after her new friend Smith (R.J. Parrish) kills an asset of Nikita and makes an attempt on her life as well. Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) and Sonya (Lyndie Greenwood) are able to hack into The Shop‘s secret satellite network where they learn of The Shop’s interest in a Nobel Prize winning Sudanese human rights activist the group has targeted for messing with their supply lines of Third World guinea pigs.

Owen (Devon Sawa) and Amanda (Melinda Clarke) prepare to sell the Black Box to the highest bidder at the G20 Summit in Toronto. Owen wets the appetites of potential buyers by giving them a preview such as ABIN’s Director who Owen teases with the knowledge that Nikita (Maggie Q) and Division are responsible for his brother’s assassination and that all the information he needs for revenge can be his, for a price. Thanks to Cyrus (Isaiah Mustafa) what’s left of Division knows where the sale is going down, but Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) will have to put up her own money to give them a shot and getting the box (and try to help atone for her recent actions).

Ryan (Noah Bean) awakes from his coma to the ashes of Alex‘s (Lyndsy Fonseca) foiled rebellion, a broken computer system, and news that Owen (Devon Sawa) has stolen the Black Box and is working with Amanda (Melinda Clarke) to sell it to the highest bidder. As Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) and Sonya (Lyndie Greenwood) work to try and get Division up and running again, Nikita (Maggie Q) leaves to find a broken Alex, who fled what’s left of Division following the death of Sean (Dillon Casey) and has turned her aggression on local drug dealers in a suicidal plan that reminds Nikita of her own behavior after the loss of Daniel (Sebastien Roberts).
