Pretty Little Liars - A Dark Ali

While Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Ezra (Ian Harding) both attempt to convince Alison (Sasha Pieterse) not to take A‘s bait and finger the man who has come forward to accept responsibility for her kidnapping (which never happened) along with the murders of Alison’s mother and Bethany Young, the other Liars worry about what exactly A has planned. Not able to convince the rest of the group to use Shana‘s (Aeriel Miranda) evidence of Alison’s movements during her supposed captivity, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) turns her attention back to Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) and the secrets under her own roof as the series offers another emotional scene between sisters who can’t quite bring themselves to trust each other with the truth.

Pretty Little Liars - March of Crimes

On the eve of Ella Montgomery‘s (Holly Marie Combs) rehearsal dinner the fracturing of the Liars continues as tension between Aria (Lucy Hale) and a boozing Hanna (Ashley Benson) hits an all-time high based on Hanna’s recent revelation about the man whom Aria’s mother plans to marry. Although Aria doesn’t accept Hanna’s word at face value she does begin to question Zack (Steve Talley) which leads to the truth eventually coming out only minutes before the beginning of the party. Caleb‘s (Tyler Blackburn) rash action leaves the groom-to-be with a fat lip but it also uncovers the fact that the entire incident was orchestrated by A simply to cause Aria’s family more pain.

Pretty Little Liars - Scream For Me

With both Hanna‘s (Ashley Benson) drunken blurb about New York getting back to A and Lt. Tanner (Roma Maffia) continuing to question Alison‘s (Sasha Pieterse) story about her prolonged abduction Alison takes some preemptive steps in an attempt to add credence to the elaborate lies told about her missing years. Step one involves temporarily moving in with Hanna and her mother, which only sends a spiraling Hanna further out of control. And step two involves convincing Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) to perform a bit of theater in order to convince Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) of the danger not only she but all the Liars find themselves in.

“Maybe we should put down the puzzles and walk away.”

Pretty Little Liars - The Silence of E. Lamb

Despite the actions of Mona (Janel Parrish) and her new cabal, in the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars it’s the Liars own doubts and concerns, and those of their loved ones, which begin splintering the group still adapting to Alison‘s (Sasha Pieterse) return. With Aria (Lucy Hale) busy with her new volunteer job at Radley trying to uncover the story behind the unusual drawing of Alison’s mother, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) standing-in for her helping out the still injured Ezra (Ian Harding), it falls on a discontented Hanna (Ashley Benson) to show up with Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Ali for an impromptu dinner party thrown by Mrs. Fields (Nia Peeples).
