With a new Superman in still in theaters every now and then I’ll continue to take a look back at the hero’s more memorable moments on both the big and small screen. On assignment for the Daily Planet, Lois (Teri Hatcher) and Clark (Dean Cain) go undercover in the honeymoon suite to keep tabs on the Chairman of the House Defense Committee (Charles Frank) and his secret meetings across the street with defense contractor Thaddeus Roarke (Charles Cyphers).

Lois & Clark - The Man of Steel Bars

With a new Superman in now in theaters every now and then I’ll continue to take a look back at the hero’s more memorable moments on both the big and small screen. What if Superman (Dean Cain) was the cause of Global Warming? “The Man of Steel Bars” presents an interesting dilemma when the city of Metropolis is hit with a record November heat wave while those in surrounding cities are plowing snow and fighting frostbite. What sets Metropolis apart? Only the daily super-feats performed by the Man of Steel.

Lois & Clark: Strange Visitor (From Another Planet) / The Green, Green Glow of Home

With a new Superman in now in theaters every now and then I’ll continue to take a look back at the hero’s more memorable moments on both the big and small screen. Much of the First Season of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman centered around the various machinations of Lex Luthor (John Shea), but there were a pair of episodes that presented the Man of Steel with a completely different kind of adversary. “Strange Visitor (From Another Planet)” begins with shadowy government agent Jason Trask (Terence Knox) taking over the newsroom of the Daily Planet and hooking both Lois (Teri Hatcher) and Clark (Dean Cain) up to lie detectors in hopes of finding out more about the “alien menace” of Superman.

Lois & Clark - Neverending Battle

With a new Superman ready to fly into theaters this summer every now and then I’ll continue to take a look back at the hero’s more memorable moments on both the big and small screen. Just how powerful is the Man of Steel? That’s the question asked in “Neverending Battle.” As Superman-mania grips The Daily Planet, and Lois (Teri Hatcher) does whatever she can to scoop the story, Lex Luthor (John Shea) designs a series of tests to discover the limits of Superman‘s (Dean Cain) powers. In a clever nod back to the 1940s radio show, Luthor’s theorizes and surmises about Superman being “faster than a speeding bullet,” “more powerful than a locomotive,” and “able to leap buildings in a single bound.”
