Elementary - One Percent Solution

A restaurant bomb killing three people and injuring several others including government agents and banking executives brings Lestrade (Sean Pertwee), who now works as the banking company’s “security czar,” to New York along with his perky new assistant (Sarah Goldberg). Forced to work with the man who took credit for much of the consulting detectives’ own work in London, Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) bears down on the case while doing his best to ignore his old friend.

As Watson (Lucy Liu) delves into a case of a missing homeless veteran that hits close to home, Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) is called in to investigate the murder of a promising young ballerina. Although all evidence points to the show’s lead, an experienced diva (Aleksa Palladino), Holmes believes the woman is innocent (even if she does know the victim far better than she lets on). When Watson (Lucy Liu) pokes around one of Sherlock Holmes‘ (Jonny Lee Miller) old unsolved murders she finds something the detective missed the first time around: a Paleozoic rock with the fossilized skeleton of a complete dinosaur inside. The discovery of the fossil leads the pair into the world of smuggling, and after a notorious smuggler known only as The Magpie whose agents liberate the fossil from the NYPD while posing as Custom Agents. When the smuggler turns up dead, along with a completely destroyed fossil of the Nanotyrannus and DNA that matches a man who can’t possibly be their killer, Holmes is forced to reexamine the case.

A well-orchestrated murder and the kidnapping of a young girl (Delphina Belle) from a wealthy family by one of Moriarty’s lieutenants leads Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) to request the help of Moriarty (Natalie Dormer) to find “faux-riarty” (Andrew Howard) and come clean with Watson (Lucy Liu) about his lengthy correspondence with the incarcerated mastermind since Holmes sent her to prison. With Captain Gregson‘s (Aidan Quinn) help, the detectives discover Moriarty is no longer languishing in a super-max prison but working on limited-release for the FBI.
