Elektra

Daredevil #1

Resurrected and brought back from Hell to live life in New York as a preacher leading a youth home of troubled kids, Father Matthew still has the skills acquired but is only dimly aware of a former life that’s about to crash down upon him when Elektra (who has been keeping tabs on him and secretly funding the orphanage) is possessed by a demon and sent after him.

Despite the tease that we might see Avengers involvement, there are no mighty heroes in Daredevil #7, instead Daredevil puts a handful of his recruits to good use in preventing police and a corrupt CEO from evicting families from their tenement. Daredevil #1

Matt Murdock is dead to the world as Daredevil (who no one remembers is Matt Murdock) and Elektra prepare to leave New York and take their fight to the Hand. Before leaving the city, however, Daredevil spends one final night fighting crime with Spider-Man and tying up various loose ends. There’s not as much Daredevil/Spidey interaction as I would have liked here (especially between two men who have made deals with devils to hide their secret identities), but the pairing still works.
