Our Throwback Tuesday post takes us back into the Cold War spycraft of Danger Man. Over his objections, Drake (Patrick McGoohan) is sent to Beth Ja Brin in the Middle East to find and return Vanessa Stewart (Moira Lister) who has fled England. Hardy (Richard Wattis) desperately wants the woman returned and prosecuted for espionage. The situation is complicated by the woman being kept under lock and key by the powerful local Mr. Ramfi (Paul Stassino) and the arrival of a friend and former ally (Warren Mitchell) of Drake now working the other side.

Our Throwback Tuesday post takes us back into the Cold War spycraft of Danger Man. The transportation of two assassins (Allan Cuthbertson and Peter Stephens) back to the United States is complicated by the spoiled daughter (Ann Firbank) of the airline’s owner who forces her way onto Drake‘s (Patrick McGoohan) charter flight and inadvertantly allows the prisoners to crash the aircraft in mid-flight. Stranded on an island with only a single inhabitant (Michael Ripper) who the assassins reach first and are able to turn to their side, things don’t look good for our hero.

Our Throwback Thursday post takes us back into the Cold War spycraft of Danger Man. Drake (Patrick McGoohan) travels to Kashmir following an agent hoping to catch who the man will pass his information. When the contact turns out to be a wealthy Englishwoman (Barbara Shelley), Drake befriends the woman’s husband (Ronald Howard) earning him a dinner invitation in the couple’s mountain home. Although the couple welcomes him with open arms, it soon becomes a question of whether Drake is the predator or the prey.

Our Throwback Thursday post takes us back into the Cold War spycraft of Danger Man. There’s a lot happening in “The Prisoner” as Drake (Patrick McGoohan) first needs to find a suitable double to stand in for an American citizen (William Sylvester) confined the U.S. Embassy in the Caribbean for five long years. Stepping out the embassy would mean the man’s death at the hands of a brutal colonel (William Lucas) and a president (Michael Peake) all too eager to earn a big victory over the West. Drake finds such a double in a famous pianist, and former soldier, who agrees to help despite the danger he will certainly be putting himself in.

Our Throwback Thursday post takes us back into the Cold War spycraft of Danger Man. There’s an interesting conundrum at the heart of “The Sisters,” but before Drake (Patrick McGoohan) can get to it he journeys halfway around the world to work with a frenemy (Sydney Tafler) to smuggle a young woman (Mai Zetterling) to the West. A talented scientist (Barbara Murray) has defected, but unsure whether or not the woman is the real thing the British send Drake to find the woman’s sister who alone can make a positive identification. Despite their initial embrace, the discrepancies in the two woman’s accounts makes it a certainty that one of them isn’t who they appear to be, but which one is lying?
