The first-half of Burn Notice‘s Sixth Season finale begins with Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) sneaking away from the group for a secret meeting with his old friend Jason Bly (Alex Carter) who offers the spy a deal to get Agent Riley (Sonja Sohn) off his back and keep his friends out of jail by turning himself in as a CSS witness. After Fi (Gabrielle Anwar) convinces Michael to forget about Bly’s offer the team goes forward with their plans to flee the country as workers on a cargo ship, but things go south when their contact (Brett Rice) sells them out to Riley getting Sam (Bruce Campbell) shot and Jesse (Coby Bell) captured by the CIA.

Her attempt to get Barry (Paul Tei) to put up a financial smokescreen obscuring where Michael and his team are headed only gets her in more hot water with the CIA. Meanwhile, Fi (Gabrielle Anwar) and Jesse (Coby Bell) help Schmidt (Patton Oswalt) procure an expense piece of technology from his warehouse to help pay the exorbitant fee of getting the foursome new identities and safely out of the country.

Following the events of the last two episodes Michael (Jeffrey Donovan), Fi (Gabrielle Anwar), Sam (Bruce Campbell), and Jesse (Coby Bell) go on the run from the United States Government, but before they can flee the country by boat they find themselves boxed in at the marina by both the CIA and Coast Guard forcing Sam to say a quick, but heartfelt, farewell to Elsa (Jennifer Taylor). commandeer her car, leave her to be interrogated by the CIA and FBI, crash trough the barricade, and come up with a new escape plan on the run.

Picking up right where last week’s two-hour premiere left off, Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) must face the consequences of killing Card (John C. McGinley) as he and Sam (Bruce Campbell) try to to escape the building before the CIA’s full tactical team led by Olivia Riley (Sonja Sohn) discover Card and Gray’s (Seth Peterson) bodies and begin searching for the killer. Although Michael is able to make his own exit, the CIA finger him as the shooter and Sam gets pinched before he can make a clean getaway.
