Arrow - Trust But Verify

Diggle (David Ramsey) and Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) partnership becomes strained when Oliver goes after Diggle’s former commanding officer (Ben Browder), whose name is on the list left for Oliver by his father and who he believes is responsible for the recent series of armored truck robberies. Diggle intervenes, preventing the man who saved his life from the wrath of Green Arrow before going undercover in his friend’s private security company to prove his innocence.

Meanwhile Green Arrow has his hands full with a copycat archer who has begun killing off members of the list. Despite realizing the recent murders aren’t the work of Green Arrow, Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is ordered by his superior (Brian Markinson) to hide the fact that there is a second archer on the loose.

Despite Diggle’s (David Ramsey) objections, Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets romantically involved with Helena (Jessica De Gouw) and begins training her to be a crossbow-wielding Starling City vigilante known as the Huntress.  Together the pair take down another name on Oliver’s list,  a crack dealer who works for Helena’s father, but  his influence, which isn’t helped by an awkward double-date with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Merlyn (Colin Donnell), can’t stop her from starting a gang war by killing the leader of the Triad to weaken her father (Jeffrey Nordling) and make the mob boss pay for the death of her fiance.

Starling City gets a little crowded on the vigilante front when an armed assassin on a motorcycle kills a business man (John Cassini) in broad daylight while he was talking with Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson). Not-so-surprisingly the death of the businessman with mob connections to the Bertinelli crime family coincides with Oliver‘s (Stephen Amell) attraction to a young woman named Helena (Jessica De Gouw) harboring her own painful past and dark secret. That’s right boys and girls, it appears the Huntress has come to Starling City.
