Using the methods he learned from the Bratva, Green Arrow attempts to train Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), and Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin). However, his tough love method doesn’t earn him any friends. Meanwhile Ollie’s day job isn’t without troubles as a full-day free clinic runs trouble first from funding issues and latter by the appearance of Ragman (Joe Dinicol) who shows up to take vengeance.

Arrow - The Complete Fourth SeasonIn the show’s Fourth Season, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is pulled out of retirement and returns to Star City to battle supernatural criminal Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). Flashback tend to the supernatural as well as Ollie works to prevent soldiers from finding a mystical item hidden somewhere on the island.

While not the show’s strongest season, there is plenty to enjoy. Highlights include the multi-episode crossover with The Flash used to launch The CW’s new spin-off, the team struggling to deal with a death of their own, the appearance of Vixen (Megalyn Echikunwoke), Darhk kidnapping Oliver’s friends, John Constantine‘s (Matt Ryan) arrival in Star City, the introduction of Tom Amandes as both the Calculator and Felicity‘s (Emily Bett Rickards) father, and trust issues for Diggle and Oliver to work through.

Just once I would like Arrow to end a season without Star City in flames. Is that too much to ask? “Schism” wraps up the season-long arc of Oliver Queen‘s (Stephen Amell) battle with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) for control of Star City. Despite his bunker being destroyed, Darkh reacquires A.R.G.U.S.‘ missle technology with plans to start a nuclear holocaust to wipe out all civilization on the planet. Without a plan, Oliver makes a plea to the city to prevent it from tearing itself apart its final hours. It’s that small kernel of hope which Green Arrow uses to turn the entire city against Darkh.
