We now have our first trailer for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. featuring a team from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker) dealing with the weird, supernatural, and super-powerful under the leadership of the very much alive Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) in the television version of the Marvel Universe. The show has been officially picked up for ABC and will be premiere on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Wired is reporting that ABC has officially picked up Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the Fall schedule. The show will star Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge as agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.

On the red carpet for the premiere of Iron Man 3, The Avengers director Joss Whedon let slip a couple of interesting tidbits concerning the introduction of new characters in The Avengers 2 (a “brother and sister act” presumably referring to Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch) as well as stating that the now completed pilot for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will explain how Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is still part of the Marvel Universe.
