I sincerely hope this is a tease just like him whispering his name but it wasn’t his name in the Wedding of River Song.
This sounds like a horrible idea
I guess this means the Doctor is finally going to Trenzalore. The prophecy said he would answer the first question. I have confidence that Moffat can pull this off without screwing it up probably with a twist like The Wedding of River Song where he’ll say something but either we won’t hear or it will turn out to be not true.
His name is the Doctor.
I think I agree with most people that we don’t want to hear his actually say his name aloud if it is anything other than Doctor.
I thought they had already stated that his name was Doctor, that he had chosen it for himself just as the Master had chosen his name. So would this be his childhood name? Why would that be a secret? I’m guessing there is more going on than just the Doctor saying his name.
I doubt very much they’d actually reveal his name. Whatever name they could choose, it will be a huge let-down.
As it’s likely this will be the last episode between this season and the 50th Anniversary Special in November, I’m sure they’ll tie together somehow.
Total tease. No way do they actually say his name.
