Honestly, I’ve watched this commercial for FX new series The Americans half a dozen time and I find it incredibly hard to take seriously. The first time I saw it Iwas positive it was a parody given how ridiculous the lines from this first glimpse of the show are (“The Americans have no intelligence”). Now realizing it’s meant to be taken seriously, I honestly don’t know what to expect. The show stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Noah Emmerich, and Max Hernández star. The Americans premieres in January on FX.
