Sue Monk Kidd’s novel, about an incident in 1964 which causes Lily Owens (Dakota Fanning) and Rosaleen Daise (Jennifer Hudson) to flee their home and end up with three beekeeping sisters (Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Sophie Okonedo) in the town of Tiburon, comes to the big screen.
