From director Ang Lee comes this WWII tale of a young woman (Wei Tang) who becomes swept up in an affair with a powerful politician (Tony Leung Chiu Wai). Lee-Hom Wang and Chih-ying Chu also star. The film, presented in Mandarin with Enlish subtitles, was given an NC-17 by the MPAA, so expect only to find it in art houses in select cities when it opens this Friday.
