- Title: The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #11
- Comic Vine: link
- Writer: Sholly Fisch

After Wayne Tech’s new artificial intelligence is corrupted by a villain calling themselves the Ghost in the Machine, taking control of the Internet and communication across the city and holding Gotham City hostage, Batman and Mystery, Inc. are on the case. The latest issue of the series reintroduces Barbara as Oracle who guides Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and Velma into the virtual world of cyber-space eventually leading to Mystery, Inc. unmasking the Ghost and discovering it’s an old Batman villain (and one with specific ties to Oracle’s complicated comic’s history).
The comic shows an appreciation of Bat-history, and it is nice to see Oracle get some love (although in the same comic series that gave us Barbara as Batgirl not all that long ago, the change does feel a bit sudden). Also, I did have a mixed reaction Erich Owen’s art of the comic which I found a bit hit-and-miss, particularly where the Caped Crusader was concerned.
