A flat tire on the way to a Van Expo, and a lift from Batman to a nearby town, provides the start of a new mystery. While Fred spends time with a familiar looking mechanic fixing up the Mystery Machine (and installing some upgrades, one of which we’ll get to see in action), the rest of the gang learn about recent appearances of a Ghost Car around the neighborhood before running into it outside the diner (and almost getting run over).
No surprisingly, it turns out Batman’s case involving stolen car parts and the gang’s run-in with the Ghost Car coincide with the Dark Knight returning to help Mystery, Inc. capture the car. From their it’s a quick reveal of the mechanic to be Harley Quinn (also not surprising). After Harley’s capture there’s not much time for a recap, nor is there much time for Scooby shenanigans, but other than that there’s enough here for fans of the characters to enjoy.
