Having survived her suicide mission, Scarlett finds a minute to catch up with Jinx while Storm Shadow and the Arashikage continue to search for the weapon. The comic plays out both sides simultaneously showing Storm Shadow slicing his way through those between the ninja and his prize while continuing to allow the women to talk. Happy to be together again, Scarlett is saddened to learn Jinx has no plans to leave the ninja as she believes she is where she needs to be with what is coming.
Although we still haven’t gotten Snake Eyes, the fourth issue does give us Jinx briefly mentioning Cobra and we see some Cobra soldiers arrive to take possession of the weapon which is revealed to be the mythical Sword of Life. It’s unclear what Cobra wants with the weapon. However, seeing Storm Shadow hold the sword raises all kinds of flags for Scarlett, so whatever it does neither may be the best choice to wield it.
