There isn’t that much of note in G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #304 which confirms that Snake Eyes and Scarlett aren’t dead (to the surprise of absolutely no one) and the continuation of the partnership between the mutations from Cobra Island led by Serpentor Khan and Revanche. It’s not a bad issue by any means, just a bit of a middling middle issue of a larger arc slowly pushing events forward.
The comic does give us Dawn Moreno still acting as Snake Eyes doing some snooping and kicking ass after sneaking into Springfield where Cobra Commander has decided to launch attacks on Cobra Island and prevent the growth of the mutants. Is this the start of a Cobra Civil War, and if so, could G.I. JOE see themselves partnering with Cobra for the good of the free world? And what roles with Destro, the Baroness, and an unlikely partnership with Zartan play as well?
