Quote of the Week

Our quote this week comes from Stephen Colbert who reacts to the news he came in third in total votes on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People Online Poll.  Colbert came in behind Korean pop singer Rain, and Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong creator Shigeru Miyamoto.  Check out the video inside the Full Diagnosis.

“Donkey Kong?  Donkey Kong??  Oh sure it’s okay when a gorilla does it, but when I throw barrels at an Italian plummer they call it a hate crime.”

Iron Man: A Comic History

Iron Man was created in 1963 by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby.  That’s a pretty good pedigree folks.  For 45 years industrialst turned super-hero Tony Stark has been a staple of the Marvel Universe dealing with super-villains, hostile take-overs of his own company, relationships, and his own addictions.

Today we take a look back at some of the highlights in Iron Man’s illustrious comic book career.

This post wraps up our three day Iron Man Week, but make sure to come back on Friday for our review of the new film!

The Many Armors of Iron Man

Iron Man’s armor has gone through more than a few changes over the years.  How many can you name?  The good folks at The Iron Man Armory have been kind enough to catalogue them for us.  My favorite still has to be the classic Model V armor, though that Stealth Armor is damn cool!  You can check out all of the many armors of Iron Man in The Armory Armoire.  Enjoy!
