Perhaps more than any other character Toby Ziegler (Richard Schiff) portrayed the conscience of The West Wing.  Here are a few of Toby’s most memorable moments from the show: arguing for the NEA, talking with the US poet laureate, meeting his kids, dealing with writers block, and, as seen here, protecting PBS (and Julia Child!).  Larger version plus other clips inside the Full Diagnosis.

We begin our Aaron Sorkin Week with this clip from the man’s first (and, in my opinion finest) show, Sports Night.  This clip comes from Season Two‘s first episode “Special Powers” as Dana (Felicity Huffman) and Casey (Peter Krause) finally get to the smoochin’!  Larger verison available in the Full Diagnosis.
