One of my favorite recurring characters on The West Wing was Ainsley Hayes (Emily Procter). Although she only appeared in one season she had many memorable moments including her first debate with Sam Seaborn (Rob Lowe) on Capital Beat. A larger version is available in the Full Diagnosis along with clips of Ainsley singing “Blame It On the Bossa Nova,” arguing with Sam about the ERA, meeting the President, meeting and discussing duty with Lionel Tribbey (John Larroquette) and more!

Okay, so this clip from “Privateers” is a bit random as Amy (Mary-Louise Parker), CJ (Allison Janey), and Will (Joshua Malina) meet with Marion Cotesworth Hay (Helen Slatyton-Hughes), but it’s just so funny! This clip comes from the thrid episode of the series as the President (Martin Sheen) is briefed on “A Proportional Response” to the attack on an American plane carrying a friend.
