Okay, we still have a couple of days, but on Friday night Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez), Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski), John Casey (Adam Baldwin), Ellie (Sarah Lancaster), Awesome (Ryan McPartlin), and Jeffster (Vik Sahay, Scott Krinsky) return for their fifth, and final, season. Check out this preview for the season premiere only if you’ve watched all of Season Four (check out the DVD review) as there more than a few spoilers in store.

Prepare for the Awesomeness

It seems DreamWorks Animation and Nickelodeon are finally ready to let loose the awesome. After sitting in limbo for more than a year Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (a new cartoon based on the characters from the hit movie) is set to premiere on November 7th on Nickelodeon. The series is using most of the voice cast from the Kung Fu Panda video game (including Mick Wingert, who does a pretty darn good Jack Black as Po) and will boast several well-known guest-stars in the first season including John DiMaggioWallace ShawnSimon HelbergStephen RootWayne Knight, and Diedrich Bader. James Hong will appear to reprise his role as Po’s father Mr. Ping.

Cartoon Network wants you to Beware the Batman

beware-the-batman-teaseIn the keynote speech at the MIP Junior showcase in Cannes, France, Sam Register, executive vice president for creative affairs at Warner Bros. Animation, has announced the next animated Batman series for Cartoon Network, debuting in 2013, will be named Beware the Batman. The cartoon will focus on “a classic-looking Batman (sans classic yellow oval Bat-logo) teaming up with a gun-toting Alfred Pennyworth and a female ninja sidekick” named Katana (who may, or may not be a version of The Outsiders’ Katana) to take on Batman’s “more obscure villains, such as Professor Pyg,” but will also include well-known Bat-villains.
