Season Two of The Newsroom premieres on July 14th. Sounding an awful lot like a watered-down version of something Isaac Asimov wrote nearly 60 years ago, FOX’s new Fall sci-fi series from producer J.J. Abrams stars Karl Urban as police officer in the future with a distrust of robots who is forced to work with a human-looking android as his partner. Mackenzie Crook, Lili Taylor, Michael Ealy, Michael Irby, and Minka Kelly also star. Almost Human is scheduled to premiere this Fall on FOX.
We now have our first trailer for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. featuring a team from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker) dealing with the weird, supernatural, and super-powerful under the leadership of the very much alive Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) in the television version of the Marvel Universe. The show has been officially picked up for ABC and will be premiere on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Wired is reporting that ABC has officially picked up Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the Fall schedule. The show will star Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge as agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.
