The Dark Knight Disaster?

I am growing more and more frightened about the upcoming Bat-sequel The Dark Knight.  I trust Christopher Nolan not to totally screw-up the franchise, but I’m really starting to get worried.  First there was the announced casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker, but I took a deep breath and hoped for the best.  Then a pic appeared showing Ledger’s Joker and my spirits plummeted.  Next came the new armored version of the bat-suit (he’s not Iron Man dammit!), and then came this new image of the new rocket bike (OH COME ON!).  I don’t know about you but this is looking worse and worse every day.  Take a look at the full size images for each in the Full Diagnosis and let us know what you think.

Is this the Joker or Killer Klowns from Outer Space?

Was this left over from Judge Dredd?

It looks like someone spray-painted an old Tron costume!

Movie News

Well it seems yet another video game is on its way to the big screen.  No, sorry, it’s not Excitebike.  Legendary Pictures has optioned the rights to make Diablo into a major motion picture.  Yipee.  No word yet on what the lead character’s class will be (Necromancer please!).  With Legendary Pictures already working on on a World of Warcraft film it seems like the studio is trying to carve out a niche for itself as the new home to continue the legacy of “greatness” in past video game adaptations.  Remember Super Mario Bros., Double Dragon, or Doom (I wish I didn’t!).  That’s all for now; as always, you’ll know more when we do!
