Hey there folks!  First up, I want to welcome Sarah, a new contributor to the RF family who will be regaling us weekly on Wednesday’s with a look into the world of anime.  I don’t know about you, but I can hardly wait for her first essay on tentacle rape (just kidding)!  Fans of our sister site DHADM (another world in the Transmuto Multiverse) will no doubt recognize her unique style.  What else have we got for you this week you ask?  More of trademark goodness including trailers of films today, a look into the world of DVD on Tuesday (with a review of the final season of a certain girl detective from Neptune), Comic craziness on Wednesday, some news and tube fun for you Thursday and new film reviews including Martian Child on Friday.  All that and more!  Thanks for joining us!

For you Buffy fans around Kansas City this Friday and Saturday night is your chance to sing-a-long with your favorite vampire slayer as “Once More, with Feeling” (the musical episode from Season Six) will be shown on the big screen.  The Screenland Granada, in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, is hosting a two night event.  Your $12 ticket gets you admission plus a goodie bag and a chance to take part in the Buffy-oke contest to show off their acting chops and trivia knowledge of all things Buffy.  For more on the event, including times and theater and ticket information click here.

Pat Morita best known for his role as Mr. Miyagi died yesterday of natural causes in Las Vegas.  Morita was 73 years old.  For those of my generation Pat Morita will always be remembered as the wise Mr. Myagi of The Karate Kid films, but he actually worked in film and television for forty years on a variety of projects.  Other than his role in The Karate Kid Morita is probably best known for his role as Arnold Takahaski on Happy Days.
