Earlier today members of the Kansas City Film Critic Circle gathered to cast our ballots for the 47th Annual Loutzenhiser Awards. 12 Years a Slave was the big winner taking home awards for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and (in one of two ties this year) Steve McQueen shares the Robert Altman Award for Achievement in Directing with Alfonso Cuarón for Gravity. Gravity‘s other win was for Sandra Bullock‘s Best Actress winning performance. Her took home a pair of wins for Best Original Screenplay and The Vincent Koehler Award for Outstanding Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror Film. You can find the full list of winners inside.
