Cashing in on a coupon for putt-putt golf leads to shenanigans for Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) and a new obsession for Linda (John Roberts) who chases a second hole-in-one that never comes. Meanwhile, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) frets about his wife losing her mind and getting home in time to cook the turkey, and Tina (Dan Mintz) struggles to act adult enough to get her parents approval to attend a party with high school boys leading to some friction with her siblings who feel abandoned by their older sister.

Other than Bob’s turkey obsession, arguably as odd as his wife’s reaction to mini-golf, it takes a little while for the Thanksgiving spirit to hit the rest of the family but Tina helps out Louise and Gene who break the Yeti hole while attempting to best the animatronic dancing monster leading to some boding between the siblings on the way home. Turns out the Belchers have plenty to be thankful for, although not as much money as the trip to the golf course costs more than the family had planned.
